From the Artist: This winter scene is from a driving trip from Utah to Wyoming. The sunrise light on the top of the mountain, the blowing snow and farmland below left me Breathless.

From the Curator: If you’ve ever been out West, you will immediately recognize the mountains and color palette in this pastel piece by M. Katherine. This one in particular reminds me of my own trips and how awe inspiring our landscapes are. This is a prime example of how an artist can capture the unique qualities of a landscape (in a way my IPhone could not!).
