From the Curator: Mary has a sense for the “neutral dramatic” that is unequaled. Use of rich colors and materials give a viewer a three dimensional immersion into her world. This piece in particular is a standout. Glamorous shimmer and large scale balanced with a precise color pallet invoke a calming yet intriguing result. I personally imagine this in my dream bathroom above my bath, but this size is also perfect for over a couch or bed, in an entryway or lobby, or at the landing of steps.
